I have a family friend who is 12 years old, and tomorrow we celebrate her brave decision to shave her hair to raise money for cancer research.
Her name, aptly, is Faith, and you can watch her story below.
I am sharing Faith’s story here because, above any money that she will raise, she is a shining example to all of us.
How many times do we, as ‘seasoned’ adults, see a need, or feel a conviction, or hold on to a dream, and never act on it?
How many times have you counted yourself out of the race because the resources and talents in your hands seem too small to meet the need or desire?
What if we flip that story over and simply decide to think in terms of possibilities and solutions?
I can only imagine what an amazing place the world would be if we all, like Faith, chose to invest the resources and talents that we already posses in a cause that’s greater than our own comfort and fear. That, my friends, is true significance.
What is in your hands today?
